Set Your Sights on Denver Colorado This Winter
Many people who are interested in taking a winter vacation are going to gravitate to one of 2 different types of climates. Some people are going to want to escape the cold weather, so they will head to someplace tropical. Other people, however, are going to want to get as much of the cold weather as possible and there is no place like doing it on a ski slope. That is the reason why many people had to Denver Colorado.
Denver is referred to as the mile high city because of its elevation, but it also is known for much more than being over 5000 feet high. It is in close proximity to many of the best ski resorts that the United States has to offer. As a matter of fact, when you decide to make a trip to Denver for the purpose of skiing, you might decide that there is no other place that you would rather go.
If you are going to be staying in Denver and going skiing at different slopes, there are some options available to get you there. Many people come to Denver without the benefit of having a car, but there are other options, including shuttles, charter services and buses.
The “ski train” service is one that many people find beneficial when it comes to getting to the mountains. It transports snowboarders and skiers from Union Station in Denver to Winter Park resort. Another option is to use the bus service to the mountains. The purple buses, known as Bustang, follow a daily western route that includes eight stops. Included among those stops are Vail and Glenwood Springs. It is a great opportunity for you to be able to get out there to the mountains and ski, even if you don’t bring your vehicle.
